- Wheel chair Ponchos/CapesThese capes are made for kids in a wheelchair. Quick and easy to put on when outside for just a minute or when it is just too cold to go outside without a jacket. There are capes to put on over the head and there are capes with a front button closure. The standard capes are equal in length back and front. The back of the cape can be hung over the wheelchair (which allows the chest fixation straps to remain fixed) or tucked in behind the shoulders. There are also capes shorter in the back, so as not to get caught in the wheels or bulk up on the wearer’s back. On request capes can be made in other fabrics or adaptations can be made.
